Abandon Ruins

When the group came upon the ruins, Anon knew it was time to stop.

"Alright here's the plan. We don't know what's going on here or how we're going to stop it but that's the plan. Tomorrow we split up into groups and do some Recon of the area. We need to find away to stop these monsters.
Lucius, D and Natasha will explore the clock tower.
Sedna, Kenji and Duke will take the bone yard.
Serena and I will explore the sewers.
Any signs on how to end this thing will be reported back. Right now, get some sleep. Kenji and Natasha, you two take the first watch."

Everyone retired for the night. Kenji sharpened his sword more and Natasha was looking through her scope just to make sure none of the creature ventured into the camp.

Anon scratched his head.
"No, this is impossible. The daemons were here when we went to sleep. Why would they suddenly stop attacking? Natasha, what was it you saw last night?"
"I saw the little one run off in different directions. Some reason, they never came back." Anon was silent for a few moments.

"Pack it up people. What ever we came to defeat has obviously left. We did our best but the town is still in danger. We leave in fifteen minutes."
There were a few grumbles but mostly everyone agreed with Anon, they had missed their chance to end this.

The group packed camp and moved back to the surface, embracing the moon they hadn't seen for a good week.
