The church was the only building open this time of night, so Anon hanged his cloak on the peg outside before entering. If anyone came in now, they would see him without his hood but that wasn't going to happen. He had a feeling that everything was either outside the building or sleeping through the night.
He genuflected and gave the sign of the cross. Even though he wasn't religious, it was still courteous to respect traditions.
"I must be respectful, otherwise it will end up like the time I was in Florida."

Noticing the 25 vials of holy water on the counter, he quickly took out five miniature vials and carefully separated the big vial between the small vials. He placed the empty Jar to one side and took out his coin purse.
"Favor for a favor." he said as he place a gold coin on the alter. With the night grinding on, he needed to find another place to sleep. So he grabbed his cloak and did it up in the style he loves, and exited the church, leaving no evidence that he had been through.

The church. The first place his body would be taken. He made his way carefully through into the cold building. By the alter, he could see the ragged remains of his body. He crept forward and lifted his body off the alter. He carried the body like a fireman and bowed before the alter, as a mark of respect.
Before he turned his back, he noticed the gold coin he had first donated when he had first arrived in Ercreia.
"Hmm... If I knew this would happen, I would have placed a reviving potion or something."
He exited the church, carrying his broken body towards the forest.
