Joey

Karhrie was on her way to go back into the Undergrounds when suddenly, she saw another crowd around Firelight Fountain.

I hope it's not another dead body! Karhrie thought to herself.

But when she got closer to the crowd, she saw that they were all huddled around a little boy lying on the ground on his back.

It's Joey!

"Oh, look the boy is waking up!" A villager said.

Karhrie went out of the crowd to Joey's body, who was looking around him with a confused face, before getting up.

"Joey! Oh, you're alright!" Karhrie gave him a hug.
"I-I can't believe! You're alright!"

"K-k-kar-Karhie?"

"Oh, thank goodness! Are you alright?"

But before he can answer a voice called out.

"Joey! It's you! You're back!"

It was Lydia from the orphanage.

"Young man! Where have you been! You had us all worried sick!"

"I-I-I don-don't re-re-remember."

Something caught Karhrie's eyes.
In Joey's hands were a photograph.
A photograph of Joey's parents.

"You found it...." Karhrie said almost in a whisper.

"Hm?" Joey said.

"Oh, nothing. We're glad you're alright. Now, let's get you back to the orphanage."
